Estructuras de la Tarde

BIO:    Estructuras de la Tarde is a modular ambient-folk guitar band formed by musicians of Mandorla label.  Founded by Manrico Montero in 2007, the first lineup included Montero plus Salvador Villanueva, Ruben Tamayo (Fax) & Paul Marrón. They played together a couple of shows at local festivals in Mexico and recorded an Ep called “Bleur“, featuring rare live tracks and old music of the band with vocal collaboration of russian singer Vera Ostrova, this material was included on the Mandorla CD 001 (Not Available).

Afterwards Montero invited Arthur Henry Fork and Julio Clavijo to join to the project, becoming Estructuras de la Tarde a full 6 guitar band, and with the collaboration of visual artist Antonio Dominguez they become an audiovisual ensemble. They performed a couple of times at Mutek.Mx Festival at Mexico City, opening shows to artists like Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins)Spectrum (Spacemen Tree), Scape Label Showcase (Pole Band & Jan Jelinek Band) and playing in other local festivals.

Currently the ensemble is integrated by Manrico Montero, Ruben Tamayo, Salvador Villanueva and french musician Alexandre Navarro, and they have just begun the recording process of a whole new album project.
